Overview

Upa-yoga is a simple yet powerful system of 10 practices that activate the joints, muscles, and energy system. Based on a sophisticated understanding of the body’s mechanics, Upa-yoga dispels inertia in the body’s energy and brings ease to the whole system. This is a great starting point for those who want an introduction to Classical Hatha Yoga and for those with no prior experience of yoga.

The practice is taught with simple, guided instructions and can be done on your own after the workshop.​

Commitment
  • The training consists of 2 (2-hour) classes. Attendance at both classes is required.
  • Once you complete the training, it will take about 30+ minutes to do this set of practices.
Requirements
  • Suitable for ages 14+

  • Low-level intensity

  • Previous experience with yoga is not required
